Are you a passionate classroom teacher interested in learning new, convenient ways to engage your student’s families through the use of technology? Are you someone using technology to communicate and partner with your families to improve student achievement? Would you like to work with a community of peers also interested in family engagement?  If so, the Flamboyan Foundation is pleased to announce a new opportunity just for you – the Technology and Family Engagement Fellowship.

This fellowship gives teachers working in D.C. schools the opportunity to develop strong family engagement strategies with the support of technology: (1) learn about a variety of technology options available to teachers and families; (2) have an opportunity to evaluate tools to be used in the classroom; and (3) present and hear from peers about successful family engagement strategies involving technology. Additionally, participants will help research and develop tools and resources based around various technology applications or programs. Fellows who meet the participation requirements and attend all 4 meetings will receive a $500 stipend at the end of SY15-16.
